HK-7 Lanogan, who prefers a silent pronunciation of his model number, practicing a stance of Reflex, a martial art of his own creation. This fighting system relies entirely on the durability of android physiology, forgoing defensive forms in favor of grappling and close-range counters. By flexing and twisting his synthetic muscles beyond normal organic limits, Lanogan can generate enough tension to unleash lightning-quick strikes of devastating force, like a rubber band snapping back with metal fists and feet attached.
Although androids closely resemble organic humanoids, there are some observable differences in their musculature depending on their purpose. As a combat model, Lanogan’s muscle structure prioritizes quick movement, enhanced motor precision, and short bursts of strength. The stretchy nanofibers comprising his muscles provide both insulation and protection, with construction around his core more closely resembling an armored vest than its organic inspiration. Both combat and industrial androids are generally identifiable by the lack of a visible navel or mammillae on their dermis.
Originally constructed for use as a military assassin during the Unification, Lanogan deserted after being ordered to surrender himself for destruction at the conclusion of the war. Now a stateless being with only a spartan wardrobe to his name, Lanogan has embraced a life of minimalist solitude. While the bounty on his mechanical head continues to grow, a well-documented reputation for dismemberment without the aid of weaponry tends to keep nosey bounty hunters at a distance.
He is currently ranked eighth on the TGF’s Ten Most Wanted list.
